Creating a Zimbra SPF record

To create an SPF record that authorises emails to be sent from Zimbra, follow these instructions:

Locate the SPF Record Details

Step 1: Login to the CRUX control panel and click on 'Products' at the top left hand side.

Step2: Under 'Your Products' find the Zimbra Email account you wish to create an SPF Record for, and click on the 'Manage' button at the right hand side

Step 3: On the 'Zimbra Email Settings' page under 'Product Help!' click on 'Set-Up Details'

Step 4: In the main window under 'Product Set-Up Details' scroll down to 'Product Settings' and click on 'SPF Records'.

The resulting page will display the details for your specific SPF record

Create the SPF Record

Using the details obtained from the steps above, login to your DNS management system and create the SPF record. If you host your domain name with us, then use the Control Panel to make the change, otherwise, your DNS management system will most likely be hosted by the company from whom you purchase your domain name.
